lost and found

December 27th, 2007 by Tye

feeling inspired. compelled at the moment. compelled for the moment. sat waiting. i sit. stifled? the longer i stay, the farther i’ll be, the closer i am. heart wide open. heart on my sleeve. still inspired. i need to stay in the moment. have the moment stay in me. for the rest of my life. the rest of our lives…

to Greg…

into the darkness walks the shadowed man of war

muttering phrases about IBM no more

will he come back? would he dare?

those question will be left behind, by the man who doesn’t care

email queue. bounce-backs. these things are his no more

the only thing on this man’s mind is IBM, the whore

tears rolled down the cheeks of men. men standing in his shadow

the question on all our minds is, who next will he battle…

1 down, 100 million to go

September 28th, 2007 by Tye

So i saw something as i was coming out of my office building the other day that i just have to write about. These two ladies who looked quite high were stumbling around the street, doing their best to stay vertical. One of the ladies was trying to hold onto a package, and was not doing a very good job. It wasn’t but one stumble later and the package slipped from her arms and cracked on the pavement. Now you may wonder what that package was… i will tell you. It was a baby. Yes, that’s right. A human infant. Still think abortion is a bad idea? Not i…. not i.

pin and needle melody has become my only friend

September 14th, 2007 by Tye

since when has insignificant thought been the deciding factor

for things brought to life by social indescretion

lucid dreams and anarchy scream melodies unknown to me

far out panorama’s of stars and stripes

fleeting solutions and social fights

before it started, back when we were free

even the most naive of souls had unpinned seeds

so forward we march, or so it says

the one thing we’ve created, is grateful dead

I Bicycle, I Vote

September 7th, 2007 by Tye

This morning i was driving behind this guy who had this as this bumper sticker… “I Bicycle, I Vote“. Wow, that is one of the most pretentious phrases I’ve seen as a bumper sticker in a while. I am so sick of hearing how high and mighty people who ride their god damn bicycles around the city are. I would really like to knock them off their their metaphorical high horse and open their eyes. I have nothing against riding your bike instead of driving but what i do have a problem with is people who think that they are better than everybody else because they ride their bike to work. Here is the reality, most of the people who ride their bike to work do so for this fact, they cannot afford to drive. Thats the truth. If you were to fallow somebody home who was riding their bike to work, you would not see them ride up to a nice place, open the garage door and park their bike next to a BMW. If anything they would park it beside there 1987 Honda Civic. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m sure that some people who can easily afford to drive just choose to ride their bike’s for a number of reasons. I’m just speaking in generalities. If i was to hand over a nice, new, fuel efficient car to somebody who boasts about how great of a person they are for riding their bike instead of driving, you can bet any amount that they will be driving that car within a day. Please don’t think that i am looking down on people who cannot afford to drive, believe me, I’ve been there. I am just saying that if you do ride your bike as your primary form of transportation, don’t pretend that you are doing it for any other reason then that. We are all equals… right?

and i lost a part of me

September 7th, 2007 by Tye

So i had my lip ring for close to two years and suddenly it got very infected, kinda gross. Anyways, i had to have a doctor look at it before i could have it removed. As i learned yesterday… doctors and piercings do not go together very well, he tried to yank the fucking thing out of my lip like a fish hook from a fish’s mouth. After regaining my composure and pushing back the painful front i had just faced, i explained to him that it was a ring and had to be separated, then pulled out. So after he gave me a prescription for the horrible infection he sent me on my way, now in worse shape then i was before seeing him. So i went back to Strange City and they kindly removed it. Within hours of having it gone, the swelling went way down. Now after one day my lip is starting to look human again. Just short one small round piece of metal.

mind control

September 4th, 2007 by Tye

lessons learned

chosen to bid

control, control! scream the kids

hope prevails

truth hid

control, control! scream the kids

one put back

in place put it

doomed to repeat, scream the kids.
